Well it took about 6 weeks since I decided to wait for the longer lca's, I was finally got the Rubi suspension on with the 1/2" Teraflex spacers. The steering feels just like it did before, and I never had problems with my steering. I'm glad I went with this minor lift, anything higher and I think it would need larger tires. I know people do that on the Sahara gearing, but I'm not too keen. The three photos show the jeep that day I got it (1 week short of a year), then a photo with the Rubicon takeoff wheels and tires last winter, then the Jeep today. Sadly, I promised myself I'd do before and after measurements, and I forgot. Oh well. This thread was super helpful and I've pointed others this direction.

love this look - what's the tire size?
What did you do for the suspension? Any lift or change?
275/70R18 (Fun fact- these Falkens are actually slightly larger than stated, actual size is 280/70R18)
Rubicon suspension+0.5 teraflex spacers

So here’s my results! Installed Rubicon shocks and springs on my wife’s Sahara. Also added Rough Country 0.75 inch spacers in the front to really get it level. We are really please.

Here’s the kicker: the Jeep seems to be a little lower on the right side. Both my front springs were the same part numbers and both rears were the same (91/61). They did have a green tag on one front and rear and I put those on the drivers side as I read in previous posts. Can you offer an in-site? Most everything I’ve read is that each spring has an individual part number for proper placement. Has anyone else seen this before? I know the Jeep that these springs came off of so I’m positive it’s a matching set of springs. Thanks in advance.

higher number goes on the passenger side.
If both springs on front and back have same part number you might have gotten the wrong springs.

My Rubicon springs: 3660/3662AB front D/P, 3590/3591AA rear D/P

The springs I have are 2 front=3661 and 2 rear=3591. Each set had one spring that had a green tag and the others had a white tag. I checked the tags and the VIN was the same on all the springs. I’m not sure if the Jeep had something special about it or what. Just kinda weird since every other thing I’ve read is that the springs are 4 different #s.

Go for the Rubi Rims/Tires...

Wow, as I look at this pic sooooooo much has changed in a year. Front bumper, winch, rock rails, discos, rear bumper, trip to Moab, 35s in the future, chromoly axle shafts in the future. Mrs. would get 37s, a new lift or trade it in on a Rubi if money were no object.

I feel like I going nuts reading all these threads on part numbers lol. Can someone confirm to me that the passenger number is 1 number higher than the driver? The shocks are not side specific as they have the same number for fronts and rears?

68253660AC Front driver right
68253661AC front passenger left

68253590AA rear right driver
68253591AA rear passenger left

Except why are you naming left as passenger, and right as driver?

Left should be driver, and right should be passenger.
Higher number always goes on the passenger side (right).

Yea the writing is incorrect, after searching I learned the higher number mattered. I was writing things down from various forums etc. that’s why I was so confused. Figured you guys would know!

Thank you all for this thread. Completed my spring and shock swap yesterday. Very pleased with the results! Full tank of gas and each corner measured the same height.
