Yoshiaki, I have never seen a Jeep with so much chrome before. I adore it! I can't wait to see what you do next hehe.

Yes, I'm old school (aka old) and always liked the chrome from the 60's and 70's. I have the same color Wrangler and the chrome looks sharp.

Finally got around to some of the mods I'd been planning for mine. Admittedly, it's mostly appearance stuff, but I enjoy customizing the looks on my toys.

First up was a Mopar Grill/Winch Guard on the front...spruced up the steel bumper a bit:

Found a cool set of side vent decals. I didn't want to do the plain solid black, and I ran across these that incorporated the old distressed military star, similar to one's on my old JK Freedom Edition:

Overall, I like the red accents of the Rubicon, but wanted to tone some of that red down a little. First up, had a local decal shop cut a set of small wheel logo overlays in matching blue vinyl to cover up the stock red logos:

Last but not least, pulled the trigger on a set of custom satin-finish Ocean Blue dash panels to swap out the Rubicon red panels. I'd seen a few examples of folks doing gloss color-match Ocean Blue dashes in their JL, but I had kinda envisioned what a satin-finish Ocean Blue might look like in mine since I first got it. Love how it turned out! Highly recommend the forum vendor I worked with for these, as well. More info on the dash here.

Have I mentioned how much I like Ocean Blue?

Very nice. I just ordered a 2020 JLRU in Ocean Blue. Tell me about your antennae and exhaust. Does the antennae give you as good of reception as the factory one? How does your exhaust sound? 3.6 or 2.0 turbo?

Does anybody have “blue” Bartact or PRP seat covers In their Ocean Blue Jeep? I’m curious how well they “match” the exterior.

We're in the middle of an awesome weather system. Not too hot or cold. Perfect for running around naked. Can't wait for my mirrors to get here.

Thanks!

Here's the antenna I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BDFQDVJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Like the look, but can't honestly compare the reception to the stock antenna. It picks up the couple Charlotte FM stations I occasionally listen to with no issues, but I spend 99% of the time on SiriusXM.

As for the exhaust, I have the 3.6, and it is the Magnaflow Axle-back Exhaust. I've been very happy with it! Love the more-aggressive look and sound. It's not too obnoxious, and no issues with drone. A lot of folks had posted issues with the install being more difficult than it should be due to fitment issues, but I just had mine installed by the local 4WP store. Here's a thread with more discussion on the Magnaflow: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/magnaflow-exhaust-system-for-the-jl.3848/

Bartact Blue is medium or light blue. Here’s a shot of one of their roll cage bags next to Ocean Blue.

I also got their arm rest.
