JL Tire Carrier

I’m not sure it’s complete. I’m wondering if it needs any other support brackets like the jk version. If it is complete then that is a far cheaper option than a decent tire carrier. Those typically start in the $700-$800 range. It also looks like it has a decent rear camera housing as opposed to some other manufacturers.

True, but I was comparing it to their JK version which is about $100 less. I had the jk version and was pleased with it.

Seems reasonably priced to me. Rebel off-road is running a special on it starting Monday. Not sure the extent of the deal though. Worth the wait IMO.

One thing I see it doesn’t have is a license plate relocation bracket. Maybe that’s a separate item. Hope so I’ll need that.

@TeraFlex any plans on releasing beefier tailgate hinges like your offering for the JK or has stress and load analysis shown the stock hinges to be sufficient?

Well, I'm giving it a go. I made the purchase through @RebelOffRoad for $300. I'll be mounting a 37, which weighs ~111 lbs.

Well I love my Hauk bumper and tire arm. You could put a 40 in on this arm if you wanted to. Came with a could kit for relocating my camera and license plate.

Once you see this thing you will have second thoughts on it being pricey. Honestly nobody understands how they can produce this for the cost they are selling it at, it is such a nice piece.

We are currently in R&D for an Alpha Hinge for the JL. It will be coming out, but the timeline has not been decided yet. Rest assured we are working to make something great!
