Today for kicks I decided to throw one of my 35x12.5 17 ko2s that are still on my jk wheels on for comparison. Ive been debating on getting them swapped since I got the jeep in Dec. While you can barely notice a difference there was a slight gain. That setup looked big on my jk, the jl seems to swallow them up.

Are those JK wheels 17 or 16”?

Some weird optical illusion going on. The 35 from the JK is obviously taller by the tape, but actually looks smaller than the factory 33s on the JL. I agree though, the JLUR seems designed around having a 35" tire on it.

I guess I’ll post again here, since my previous post in this thread was a while back. They rub front disconnected at not even full flex. They rub in back, sway bar links still connected, and not full flex. Here is shot of 315 BFGs (one of the smallest 35” tires). Everybody says they don’t rub but they DO. What each person is willing to accept is another topic.

all the folks I've seen who say 315s rub have 2 door rubis...perhaps it has something to do with the shorter wheelbase.

PSA: They rub. They rub. They rub. With the smallest 35 (a 315 KO2), the sway bay connected, and with plenty of room between the bump stops...they rub. Lol
Your signature shows that you have the Mopar lift. Did these rub with the lift or is that something you added after installing the wheels/tires?

I was very happy with 315s without a lift. But as luck would have it, I received a Mopar lift as an early retirement gift. After the install of the lift, I am "forced" wink wink to get 37s..

The rub pics were before the lift. I tested after the lift and there is no rubbing a full travel
