Checking in, I have owned a few wranglers over the years, the last being a 2009 rubi. It was just a little underpowered for me, been wanting to get back in one for a while now, but decided about 9 months ago I should wait for the JL. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint!

Greetings from upstate WNY! Previous '09 Rubi and '12 Sahara (both 2 door) owner and catching some JL fever! Anxiously awaiting the chance to jump back into the game with a JLU at year's end (though I'll likely wait until they've begun to roll off the line to see which model/trim/edition will best suit me). Have greatly appreciated all the insights and experiences shared by forum members this last month and decided to join in as a newb. While the anticipation is always a big part of the thrill, I am looking most forward to regaining that ear-to-ear grin I had while daily driving my JK's, JL style!

Tammy from MD with a 2015 JKU Rubicon. Just joined the Jeep Community in 2013 and within a year was already trading in my 2013 Sahara for the Rubicon. Now I have a 3.5 metalcloak, 35" tires and more. It's not enough!

I didn't go to school on the East Coast... Minnesota and school for me was decades ago. Never seen Supertroopers but will have to check it out.

Super troopers was released in 2001. So if you're in your 30's or younger, it's probably a good bet you've seen it.

There was a successful "go fund me" project by fans to produce a sequel. Last I heard they were far enough along to cast the original members. Edit: It's in post production and is awaiting a release date.
