OOOH finally someone came out with a 7075 steering setup. I didnt' even notice it. But based on the picture they have on their website it looks like it is just using the steer smarts rod ends with their aluminum tube.

I just did the Tie rod and love using the CavFab aluminum rod over the steer smarts style one. But the ends are legit!

Pro and cons for both. I really don't know. I have waited to mod due to the limited availability of product and support. Plus wanted to see what issues pop up before I head down the empty wallet wife riding me rabbit hole. My wallet is getting to the George Castanza level and I need to purge. (Well, after deployment)

Some may like it more but I prefer the steer smart clamps over jam nuts for a tie rod. Really anything in steering. Especially when tightening it down I would be concerned about it moving when putting the torque on it.

I know why people like the aluminum but I guess there’s several ways to accomplish the same thing.

I just went w/ the full cavfab setup. main reason to go aluminum is that it bends and then pops back. a steel tie rod will bend and stay bent
