Short notice, but maybe a Friday and overnight home Saturday? I have three trips upcoming. Need to verify I could take that time as these others close in. Never been there and would like to check it out. Have you looked at projected weather

Valley of the Moons is on my to-do list, but unfortunately, I have family commitments over the long holiday weekend.

My family are going for a day trip on the 5th. Could talk them into camping.

If no, is there traffic on the trail? In big bear I always figure someone will come by eventually.

Never like going out that far solo, but most of it just like real high penalty for failure more than rig challenging.

I'd love to do it, it's just to far for me for a down and back. I'd get home about 10-11 pm!
