2019 JL Door Sill Guards

Opinions, suggestion, what are you using ....
Getting ready to put door sill guards on my ‘19 MOAB. Ordered a 4 piece set from Quadratec then read a couple people saying they prevented the door seal from keeping out rain. Mopar has them but without the upper lip.
Any info ya’ll would like to throw my way would be appreciated.

I wanted the quadratec because i liked how the pattern matched the sahara running boards. To get the door to seal proper you have to do a little trimming. Not hard but at the same time a flawed design from them for sure.

I have the Mopar sill guards, they don't protect much but look nice.....would be better if they wrapped over the top like the Quadratec ones do.

Had Mopar in my JK, thought about getting Mopar for the JL, but the lack of full coverage pushed me to Rugged Ridge, and I don't have any complaints about the RR after 1 month.

I got the Quardatec's and they fit perfect. No issues with H2O.

I have the Mopar guards, as well. They actually have a better lip than I expected- which was nothing. It doesn't wrap the whole top but it does go up the side a bit. Enough protection for me. I never had them in my TJ or JK and it showed...

And yes, they do look nice!
