Wow some of you have had some amazing trips with ur JLs. Those pics are amazing. On the east side, just driving on our crumbling roads is how we off-road!! Last weekend, took the JL Into nyc and survived!!

Picked the wrong day to take the doors off. This is what “20% chance of afternoon showers” really means...
Lol, I've been in the same boat (pun intended!) with my JK. It has soft doors, but sideways rain goes right through them.

That right there should shut anyone up who thinks the JL isn't truly a Jeep! (If anyone like that is left after seeing the superiority of the JL on the trail!)

Took my stock JLUS out for some fun. As a first time Jeep owner, I never knew how capable it was in stock form. Can’t wait for the lift and tires!
Where were you, Interlake?

I spend about 9 months in Texas, and 3 in Colorado typically, since I retired.
I had expected to be in Colorado by now.
Got this pic of Wolf Creek Pass from a friend this morning. This is yesterday. 6/20/2019..
He can barely get off-road at 9000’, and it’s no fun when he does.
I’m looking at maybe a month in Colorado this year, i reckon.

Climate change sure is weird though.Seems like some years it’s hotter, and some years it’s colder. Some years it rains and snows a lot, and some not so much.

Unprecedented in previous times, I reckon.

I know it’s a crisis, though. Lots of scientists say so, so only a fool would think otherwise, I reckon, and I’m no fool.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I’m sure proud to be doing my part with ESS.

Geez! I'm heading to Colorado in August, hopefully it's better there by then :fingerscrossed:

It will be.
The snow will be gone.
The damage will not. Avalanches have destroyed the flora in entire drainages, down to bare mud, with creeks choked with broken trees.

It’s gonna be ugly. If you look down.

But the mountains remain gorgeous, and they always will.

There might be a hidden blessing. I suspect the high country trails will be less crowded this year.

Well thanks for the info. I was really looking forward to seeing some interesting mountain sites while there, hopefully it isn't too bad. Looks like I'll have to beef up my Moab to be prepared for rough terrain

You won’t be disappointed.

Every time I go above 10000’, I am simply amazed at the pinnacles of God’s creation. Again and again.
For over 40 years now.

Don’t think you need to beef up your Moab, unless you’re looking for an excuse to do so, either.

It’ll do, I reckon.

I’ll be there in August. My Rubicon can give ya a tug if your Moab gets stuck. ;)
