Ace also carries them in Black Chrome which IMO blends better with the black ram ball (that is unless you want the shiny stainless look. the Black makes the ram ball more inconspicuous when stock doors are on.
Do you have a link to this? I'd like to get them in Black Chrome but I can't seem to find it online.
Thanks.

While I will not use the mirrors without doors I will use them with my EAG doors, while the EAG doors include thier own door mounted mirrors I do not plan to use then as we tow the Wrangler behind our motorhome and I prefer to tow eith stock doors on then switch to tubes at the destination (or maybe doorless on occasion). If I remove the tube door mirrors on the EAG doors they all fit in the bed inside my slipstream security enclosure when towing. I needed a body mount mirror solution s so i ordered the Double take Enduro mirrors. It made the perfect combination since they install easy and take little room to store.

While in Washington State you only need driver side and rearview mirror (passenger side is not required) however I installed one anyway. The only issue with the Double Take mirrors is the passenger side is hard to see and I need to get the longer ball clamp, I have to lean a bit to see the passenger mirror, while doable another 2-3 inches (I know that's what she said, ha beat you to it) would be ideal.

My balls dropped today. I used heat shrink to cover the stainless steel shaft.

Yeah I was going to plasti-dip them, but didn’t want to put in the effort, so I wrapped them in 4x shrink tubing and bam. Done. M8/1.25 50mm length was perfect. Didn’t make contact with the body.

So...I have to make a confession. Because of my new EAG doors, I am removing (for now) my DoubleTake solution.... well, because I am not NOT "Doorless", and these doors come with mirrors. I'll keep em on hand of course... in case I do go completely tube doorless some days. :)

Dropped off my boys at summer camp this morning... finally got a chance to test out my new EAG doors. Love em. My boys did too. They were laughing and giggling despite the 59 degree weather LOL. I told them, “that’s the Jeep life baby!!!” :)

I did the opposite. Took off the EAG mirror and went with Doubletake! This should work better for us as I can now have mirrors installed whether or not the EAG doors are on. And the Doubletake's are small enough to store just about anywhere in the Jeep.

Same here however we tow our wrangler behind our motor home and the 4 EAG doors fit in the bed inside the slipstream enclosure when we tow however to fit I had to remove the EAG mirrors so a month ago I bought the Double Take which works out great. Now when we hit our destination we have options.

Moto - Sure. The video is public and if there is another solution to our mirror woes, the word should be spread!
