Lake Pend Oreille, Pronounced "Pondery".
Lake Pend Oreille is the 5th deepest lake in the US, 1150 feet deep.
The Navy has a base here and they test Submarines.

From our 100 mile drive around the lake.
It was a dusty road. Then it rained a little bit on us. Took my wife 4 hours to clean all the dirt/mud out, she volunteered to do it since it was here idea to go for a drive.

I live in Sandpoint it is on the lake.
Coeur d' Alene (Core duh lane) is 30 miles south which also has a beautiful lake.
