We make about 3 trips a year, so I'm going to have to check this place out! Is it open all year?
Yeah it's open. If you Google directions to the Nemo bridge in Wartburg it will take you to a little park that's right at the trailhead. There's always water in the tunnel but the highest I've ever seen it was up to the rockers.

I have been mapping out Trails in the eat TN area. Nemo is a great little play place, and if you go north a little bit. You can get into Jellico/Scott county and there are MILES of trail out that direction to ride. We have been looking at going back to Scott County here soon to map out some more if anyone is interested.

Thanks,
-Thomas

I live in Knoxville tn and there’s not too many places you can really get off the pavement around gatlinburg. But windrock is awesome and has plenty of trails for all experience levels. Also if you make it out that far from gatlinburg you might as well go another 20 minutes and check out the Nemo train tunnel in wartburg. Its an abandoned train tunnel that you can drive through. It’s a short trail but one of my favorite spots to go to.
Windrock Park is great, been there twice and can't wait to go back. The first time was a little scary since I've never done any off-road stuff before. The second time was cool since we stayed on Green and Blue trails. We did do all three Badge of Honor Trails there now.
Nemo Tunnel is a great ride. Huge thanks to Crawdad1028 for leading us there that day. Defiantly want to go back and find the railroad bridge I keep seeing everyone getting pictures at.
