About 14 miles north of town, out near the HF Bar Ranch. Been up Crazy Woman many times! I usually fly fish Rock Creek which is just across the street from the house. Haven’t tried fly fishing outside of Dayton, but have fished the north Tongue river along Hwy 14a up in the mountains.

I have a buddy that used to guide out of HF Bar Ranch. Zach. He is from Buffalo. Always had a good time up there.

One thing for sure, most of the places around here are very beautiful and a blast to fish. Just saw on the news due to the heavy rains that part of Hwy 14, and 14a are closed due to landslides. Water level in Rock Creek is very high right now.

I guess so. They will all be like that with the rain we are getting. Tailwaters only for about a month until runoff stops.
