Wow! Spotted this beauty by chance while taking a shortcut to drop kids at school today and, naturally, I couldn't resist getting some photos with it!! It was parked at a service center, reportedly brought in for routine maintenance. Please tell me if this is the original! If it's not, it must be extremely close!!

Very nice. An original MB for sure, but the real original was a Bantam. That may be a Willys or Ford built.

It looks like the Jeep has put on some weight over the years.

Not that I know how THAT feels :giggle:
The modern wrangler is a pig. But that’s what happens when people demand more government.

Pigs produce bacon. I like bacon. Therefore I like pigs. But does eating bacon in my Jeep offend it?

Just don’t eat a Jeep in front of your Jeep. That would be insensitive.

When you think about it, and compare two-door JLs to the original, it’s actually kind of amazing how little has changed. They’re very similar stylistically, they’re even proportionally similar, they’re just obviously quite different scale-wise and technology-wise.
