I am running 35's and mine is resting on the number also. I can only imagine how tight it is with the extra inch stuffed into the bumper
It just barely hits on the two corners, doesn’t touch the lower center part, here’s some close ups. Door opens and closes easily, can’t even feel it hitting.

Shit mine hits the center and I can feel it and hear it squeak. I have the steel bumper option

Added Yeti tie rod, drag link with their make your steering wheel not jiggle doohickey, and relocated the stabilizer up adding their neutral dampener. Steering and stability is massively improved. Should be on everyone’s list, lift or not.

Previously created my own headliner with dense foam & faux leather upholstery. But, the adhesive yellowed on the white plastic around the upholstery. Today I painted the white parts of the freedom panels. I'll reattach the hardware tomorrow.

Right now it’s powered by the 12v outlet. I’ll be wiring it to the dome light in the next couple of days.

I installed the 3rd generation Mopar 2in lift (7707 2395 AC-001) and a Smittybuilt 12K on a JCR winch plate. A few notes in case you're contemplating the same setup: The front bumps stops are a pain. I had to use a pipe wrench to hold the stops from spinning. The passenger side went on easier if you attack it from the rear by removing the brake line bracket attached to the spring mount. The LCAs are tight! I got about 2.5in the rear and 3in up front. The winch sits about a inch low on the JCR mount. The first spool line touches the bumper lip. The Rubicon take offs will be listed soon.

I ordered my flag decals from pixeldecals today. I rotated the tires and added my 1.5" spacers and black lugnuts. I also tried my homemade jig for pulling the hardtop, so now I can do it myself. I am happy with all the changes and the jig

Nice and clean! Good to know that the Cat5 carries enough power to the light bar.

How does that hood manage water. I looked at several aftermarket hoods and none had any provisions for water/rain management. At least here in the NW I would not want to expose my engine comparment to the elements,
So, Carroll Shelby put functional hoods vents on the Mustang Shelby's and Super Snakes. The motors costs more than our Jeeps. I think we'll be Ok, especially since everything under 30" on JLs is water proof and everything over 30" is water resistant.
