Is anyone running the Teraflex 4.5 springs yet. I'm interested in how they are.

How does that hood manage water. I looked at several aftermarket hoods and none had any provisions for water/rain management. At least here in the NW I would not want to expose my engine comparment to the elements,
We handle water several different ways:

The vents on the side of the hood in the back are recessed in so water coming over the top wont just drip in. We have done this for years on our JK Hood without issues.

The phantom vents running down each side of the cowl are open inwards and up. Imagine garbing the cowl with both hands. Your fingers would have to curl up to enter into the engine bay so water would literally have to defy gravity to enter through them.

The Ram Air opening in the front channels air right against the fender to where the air box accepts air. The air box is designed in such a way that air enters towards the bottom of the box and then travels up towards the filter before going into your engine. Water would collect on the walls of the tunnel running from the Ram Air opening to the fender or against the fender itself.

We definitely have always taken a function first, then form approach to our hoods so we make sure we can expel the maximum amount of heat without letting the elements back in.

Nice!!! Just wondering - is that a functional vent on the passenger side nearest the cowl? Could be useful for CAI...
The front Ram Air opening is fully functional so no need to re purpose the side vents for a CAI :)

The vents to the engine are underneath the top square, so upside down. They are not on the bottom in that groove, or on the side. So like, in this picture, they are up under the top part. So, protected.

Put her to work today, trip to Home Depot got some fence posts, we got fence that needs mending, when you got 3.5 inch lift and on 37s a 9” drop hitch is the way to go so all your cargo doesn’t end up in the back of the trailer.. no wheeling today....

I’m still on factory carrier, I just raised up the brake light. The 37 rest on the factory bumper, I think it helps support it, lol. I haven’t done anything yet because I’m saving up for the lod rear bumper with tire carrier, might have to mortgage the house for that one.........:)

My mirrors don’t arrive till Monday, but I got the RAM ball and arm installed already. Went to Home Depot to get shorter M8 bolts and washers.

Can’t wait to pull the doors off!!!

Installed my new Outback Adventure Trailgater folding table.
It’s topnotch. Flawless design, fit, and finish.
Pricy, but worth the cost to me.

I am running 35's and mine is resting on the bumper also. I can only imagine how tight it is with the extra inch stuffed into the bumper
