Well, I get what he's saying. Mine is done, as far as essentials, such as lift, tire size, wheels, winch, radios, and major items. The smaller stuff is the never ending part. I'm now waiting for half doors, tube doors, and/or soft doors.

My focus from here on out is going to be on planning trips with it. Drummond Island, Michigan is high on the list of places to go, for now.

By keeping the JK, just maintenance and keeping them clean takes up much of my bandwidth.

Your Jeep is awesome!!! I love those fenders but have a question. It appears they don’t give much more clearance than the Rubicon hightop fenders, would you say that is true? I’ve been wondering about this

Actually the reason I got these was I was rubbing at full compression on the rear with my rubicon high clearance fenders. So the Metalcloak do have better clearance.

The Metalcloak fenders are beautiful and well made, but the lights don’t impress me. The turn signals give errors and fast flash. And I haven’t been able to get the DRL working with the Metalcloak wiring instructions.

thanks! yes sir. Dipped the key hole locks, emblems, front end grille, etc. but also the tow hooks.

Mostly stock here ... only change is taking off the KM2 255/75s and putting on 285/70 Goodyear Duratracs.
