Haven’t updated in a while. We picked up my wife’s JL last Monday. She’s loving it and going to drive the wheels off it. Currently has 700 miles I think. Have her 37s and 3.5” MC lift sitting in the shop. Torn if I should buy her wheels like mine or mount them on her factory wheels. Kinda want to do something different but really like the mopar wheels too.

Tore the shop apart again and added insulation and osb 8’ up all around. Really changes the look and I plan on painting it tomorrow a nice shade of white. Alignment rack is in and working great. Hunter guys were excellent and gave me a crash course. Got it down pretty good now and love it. Went to “YouTube university” for the tire machine. Had a pasture full of tires to practice on and have gotten it down good now.

Business is great and we’re loving being able to help folks build their dream jeep! For mine, I found some things I’m going to order and try out

American adventure lab inner fenders and led light
Rcv single piece axle shafts
Going to swap out dv8 front bumper with a pioneer from roam
Rockhard 4x4 bolt in cage

We bought a 15lb PowerTank and cannot say enough good about it and also

Moab was awesome and will be making it an annual trip

Nice Brett. I can’t believe you bought another Jeep the SAME COLOR that you already have though. Lol.
Haha. Mine is granite metallic and hers is sting gray

Pulled off my dv8 bumper and installed the roam pioneer aluminum front bumper. Love the look. Waiting on some hex rivnuts to finish install before adding the winch.

Also installed some roam rails for my wife’s Jeep!

Ps, i ordered some new blades for the mower, the Bahia doesn’t get cut well with the factory ones. Have some Oregon gator blades on the way!

Been planning on building a smoker and RTI ramp for an open house. Gathered a 500 gallon and 250 gallon propane tank for the cook chamber and firebox. However, I was cruising Facebook and came across one ready to go. Couldn’t pass it up and it’ll save me a ton of time. Plans are to get it sandblasted and painted and also swap the axle out for a wider one. Smoker is 6’ long 26” diameter and 1/2” thick. Same specs for the firebox except it’s 3’. Added a thermometer and it cooks great.

Would love to have any local folks out when we do it. Need to get caught up and build the ramp but should be a good time and great food!

Seems like he was pretty proud of that thing.
Yeah he was. By the time I saw it, he was asking $1200. Didn’t even feel right trying to haggle and paid it. It’s solid and will look much better cleaned up.

Did 80 chicken wings on it tonight!

Got the Jeep detailed yesterday and ordered 2 sets of the AAL quick release inner fenders, JL highline bracket and LED lights and the hardware to reinforce the fender. Excited for these to come in!

Also had our first JL meet, was a great time and met awesome guys and their wives. Hoping to make it a frequent gathering around town!

Well, all I can add is - you ought to do a YouTube thing, I'd follow your channel in a nano-second!
Haha. I appreciate that. I might do some small videos on some projects we’re working on. I know how much I appreciate the things I’ve seen on YouTube that have been a huge help. Install videos, tips and tricks to product reviews!

A few weeks ago I bought a laptop and a product we had learned about from the vendor show at Easter Jeep safari. We now have the capabilities to change tire size, tpms limits and gear ratio without the need to buy a programmer or tazer.

The flashcal and tazer both have their place but this would work great for anyone that just wants those things changed without the need for the rest of the features. I’m a self admitted non-pro on the computer but even I can do this. Looking for them to support turning off the ESS in the future too!

Was this AlphaOBD? Ramforums are using it to turn on options (factory offered and not offered) and adjust TPMS, tire size, gear ratio, program keys, etc. I have also seen similar threads in dodge dart and jeep compass forums.

For reference
https://www.ramforum.com/threads/alfaobd.123982/

If it isn't AlphaOBD please share.
