dude tell me about it, the stock lights are the worst thing. I even bought new bright white bulbs to replace that old 1990's yellow lights. Thanks, I ordered the halos. The stock lights are so bad, I keep trying to turn on the high beam when they're already on.
For future orders (looking forward to fender LEDs to match) what the forum member discount code?
In the same boat and kind of looking at the Quake 9" headlights. https://www.quakeled.com/product/jl-9-hd-headlights-tempest
They're a bit pricy but look really nice. I guess if it's a JL made for a 9" headlight might as well spend a hundred more for a 9" set.
Are there any other 9" lights out there? Anyone else have these?
Thanks but sound else sent a link of the same exact lights for $200. That’s a better deal if you ask me, even if I have to wait a few weeks, no rush.we have been selling the original King Kong headlights for over a year now. Probably one of the best 7" replacements I have used. Has an excellent cutoff line, looks amazing, and is a true DOT(Department of Transportation) approved headlight. Not many other companies can actually provide the DOT approval.
Our 7" adapter rings feature an actual US Patent # and have a rubber seal to help fill in the gap in the grille to make these look as close to OEM as you can get. We have matching JL foglights as well.
Everyone on this forum always gets 20% off and always free shipping. We even assemble the headlight and brackets for you. All you have to do is plug them in. We just installed another set today. PM me for the 20% off coupon code

You can message the manufacturer (Loyo) directly and price should be around 200. They are currently testing out a 9” light but no production date yet. Thanks but sound else sent a link of the same exact lights for $200. That’s a better deal if you ask me, even if I have to wait a few weeks, no rush.
I’m running a true 9” LED right now..
Well I added the Mopar stubby steel bumper with LED fogs already installed, they match well together. Nothing is halogen on the Jeep now.Have you changed out your fog lights as well to match?

Awesome glad it worked out for you too!Took the leap and glad I did. Bought the lights from Amazon and fit was perfect. I do agree the dumbest thing is to adjust the angle using washers but honestly I haven't driven at night yet to see if I need to really adjust mine. I did wire up the DRL using a fuse tap (7.5v fuse for the DRL to be safe) and merried the two wires using shrinkwrap fuses and additional covering for all weather protection. Looks to be doing great no issues and all my buddies think they are sweet af.
Of the few true 9” headlights I’ve seen so far, these really do look the best. Are they DOT compliant by chance? In the good old commonwealth of Virginia, I have to be sure.Awesome glad it worked out for you too!
DOT and SAE complianct according to seller. These have very good cut-off and do not throw lights everywhere.Of the few true 9” headlights I’ve seen so far, these really do look the best. Are they DOT compliant by chance? In the good old commonwealth of Virginia, I have to be sure.
Oh boy, now I just need to get my wife to forget that Jeep parts cost money...DOT and SAE complianct according to seller. These have very good cut-off and do not throw lights everywhere.
