Parked next to a really clean TJ today just like my old one. It was interesting seeing the two side-by-side to see how much they’ve grown over the years (not as much as I thought).

The difference is even more dramatic if the TJ is on factory sized tires.

I had a friend's JK in the shop yesterday. He has a Metalcloak 3.5" lift and 37" Toyo tires. I always thought it looked "big" until I parked it next to my JL. I'm not sure if it's the chopped hiline fenders or the 1.5" height gained from my tires and slightly taller lift, but it looked so small in comparison.

lol, you'd almost need a ladder to climb up in yours.

I think it's an illusion of sorts, or the JK is just that much smaller stock. Our 2dr doesn't look that small to me on 37s and 2.5-3" lift.

I'd have to look it up, but I do think the JL is a little bit larger than the JK overall. Either way, both of yours would dwarf my stock rig, lol.

Did the 2 door replace the Darth Maul Sport?

No, the 2 door belongs to my business partner. I have however been considering selling my wife's Sport, buying a Gladiator and giving her my Rubi. It would make her happy, and I would love to toy around with a Gladiator.

That sounds like an excellent plan! I'd love to upgrade to a Gladiator, but I like my Wrangler too much to trade it in, lol. I think when they bring the Diesel to market it will make it that much more tempting.

Couldn’t get the truck up my driveway because my house got pounded with wet snow on top of slushy stuff and time-to-replace tires. So, I took one of my wife’s jeeps to work.
