Same here. Not sure how they can't get something like that right when they have had soft tops on Jeeps for how many years now?

This is the exact problem I have, passenger side no issue, drivers side is difficult. I did have the problem with the bottom channel trying to snap in prematurely as was previously mentioned but even holding that down I have to beat the hell out of the corner to get it to snap into place.Yep that's where I'm having the issue. I had no problem getting the passenger side to clip in. It clipped right in whereas the driver's side doesn't. When it does "clip" in, a simple tap knocks it out of place. I'm gonna give it a second look this weekend to see if I find anything wrong with the clip.
I just installed the soft top and holy hell, what a b*tch job it was. The zippers on the JK were frustrating at times but the JL windows are 100x more frustrating. The D-pillar (is this the correct term?) won't even clip into the mount that you bolt above the taillight. The passenger side clipped right in so there seems to be some sort of manufacturer defect with the clip. Yet another trip to the dealer will be happening.
Not even looking forward to the day when it's nice enough to take the windows off....
That sounds like a mess.Installed mine a couple days ago. Left it in the sun for a few hours and had very little trouble. Worst part was the rear window.
My windows are tinted but I wonder if additional tint can be safely added? Iād like to add ceramic tint like Iāve done to the glass.
I would be interested in the answer to this question as well.2018 here and both tabs pop out all the time, especially if I have the windows down at a reasonable speed, I can hear them flapping around in the back. If the 2019 just has a redesigned corner piece perhaps it can be ordered for those with a 2018?
I don't have the premium and it looks the same, with the same issue on the back window latching in. I'm just waiting for Bestop to make a premium aftermarket top with the glide...hopefully soonI have the premium top, and have the same problem. To me, it looks like the back snap in corners are a little too short. My back window seems toe roll a little bit at the bottom, and I noticed yesterday while walking towards the jeep, that the side windows have a bubbled look at the top. So basically the Back corners need to be a little longer. I have had the top on for a month, and the fit and finish is horrible in my opinion. I don't want it to stretch anymore as it already looks like there is extra material in the cargo area.
Why? Ceramic tint is great at keeping heat out, not to mention a bit of extra security being slightly darker. The OEM tint is not very dark and sort of brownish in color. It may not be feasible at all but I do wonder if it is.That sounds like a mess.
It's not ceramic and they don't have the JL designs up but this would be an option. I'm going to try it out when it becomes available. https://www.softints.comWhy? Thanks! may look into that. having the same issue here with my 18 JLUMine does it too, I read somewhere on here if you bring it back to the dealer they can replace it with 2019 clips and they work better.
