Day one, got it home and programmed radio and familiarized myself to interior. Got home too late to get anything done.

I've read on here that people were having a hard time lining the bumper up. It's not a smittybilt problem but a jeep problem. The spot where metal is doubled up and welded is overshadowed so you have to drill out the holes even.

The kc hilites pro6 lights were not an easy fit but are amazingly flexible in options. They had to be mounted from top downward and light twisted 180°. A bit ugly to see a nut on top but I've got some black acorn nuts ordered from Amazon to address it.

After reading silent panda's thread and getting under and looking around, armour is needed under before use. It might be more important than lift.

End of day two and probably won't have time to work on it again until next weekend.

Love the 2 dr build. If my son was older and not in a rear facing car seat, I would have probably went with a 2dr.

I really like that bumper- stubby, submerged winch mount, and a place for fog lights. Would you mind snapping and posting a few side profile pics of it, whenever you get a chance? I am curious of the coverage of the sway bar motor and the approach angle. I've been considering a few different options and I'm curious as to how this one will stack up.

Will do. I had trouble deciding on bumpers as well, almost went with metal OEM ones. I wanted one that recessed the winch and held OEM fog lights and wanted placement for aux lighting under the bar for protection. Doesn't seem like to much to ask but hard to find.

That is exactly it, thank you! Looks good, I'm putting this on my list. I have a couple more things to check out.

Rear bumper on with no problems. The instructions were almost useless but pretty self explanatory.

Wiring for tag light made much easier by wire insertion tool. Nice grommet under jack to run wires.

winch wired through heavy duty solenoid and to aux 4 switch. That keeps the winch power wire from being hot all the time.
