Just picked up my 2 Door JL from Wilson Performance and Offroad in Dayton, TN. They just upgraded my steering linkages with Steersmarts YETI XD and installed the 3.5 inch Metalcloak gamechanger Rock Sport Edition lift kit.

^ that looks awesome. Can I ask how much investment that would be in total... parts and labor? I'm dreading when I actually HAVE to do this :(

thanks... well worth the investment, imo.
Definitely! I'm a big fan of do it right and do it once, which is why I waited for Metalcloak to release their 2 door kits and didn't bother with that Mopar junk.

Very nice. Tire and wheel spec info please? And what suspension setup? I want to upgrade those sometime too, but would love to know specs so I can just choose my wheels... thanks

thanks! wheels are fuel 18x9 -12, have Nittos mounted on them now in 35x12.5. its basically "stock" suspension because I was able to get a set of oem rubicon shocks and springs which gave it an overall 1.5'' higher than the Sahara springs. its just temporary suspension setup until I figure out which actual lift I want to do sometime this summer. but have had ZERO fitment issues or rubbing issues with the wheels and offset. even with 33x12.5's on it with the stock Sahara springs I did NOT run into any issues what so ever.
Your Jeep looks great! Which front bumper is that?
its the full width Off Camber Fabrications by MBRP. was able to save that from the 16 jku and transfer it to this jlu without any hassle luckily

Thank you for the info. So just with oem rubicon suspension setup, I can get those sized tires and wheels with no issues eh? Did you have to realign? Anything else special?

And again, Jeep looks great man

Yeah with the the rubicon springs installed there were zero issues with this setup. I did re align it, But it wasn’t that far off and the worst of anything would just be adjusting the steering wheel getting that straight. Besides all that it drives just fine no issues what so ever.. only thing I cannot say for sure is with the STOCK bumper on front if it just barley rubs or not because I didn’t attempt it with the stock one on.
