Anyone have info on gas mileage they have been getting so far? I am about 16 with a mix of driving in a rubicon. Not getting the 20mpg on window sticker. I assume that is based off sport model?
I’m breaking the car in too so it’s not like I’m driving hard or anything either.
What are you guys getting??
23 average mpg on a Sport two door with 2.0 auto, 1500 miles and Falken Wildpeak tires.

mmm, not sure if this is a thing or not, but i am now seeing changes to my mpg/gas mileage. Changed from stock 33 k02 running at about 33psi. and gas mileage of 19.7 av on the highway/town.
To 35s Nitto trail grappler 35x12.5x17 at around 31psi, seeing my gas drop so far down to 14 AV same conditions.
Also seeing gear shift issues never reached 8 unless down hill, and get to 7 with a push, my guess is that would explan the Gas drop,

does anyone know how to change the gear rev shift range, to accommodate these changes?
you need the dealer to flash or you could buy a flashcal or tazer and do it yourself. Let us know what happens to your mileage after the change. 8th may or may not come back very often from what I read without other changes.

I am not sure why I never thought of this before....but after 22K miles on my JLUR or so its finally hit me. Driving the freeways here in SoCal, the transmission will shift from 6 to 8 depending on traffic, speed, load and for unknown reasons that I can figure out. But what I have found is to just stick the transmission into manual and manually shift 6-8 as needed. I have done this now for about 2000 miles and its a winner on the MPG for sure. I tracked coolant and oil temps and did not see any differences. However, I am in 8th way more than the auto trans would let me helping me get those the extra mpg. What I don't know is how the transmission will put up with it in the long term but I suspect it will be fine. If you are trying to get the best milage out of your JLUR with an auto...give it a shot and see what you get.

My 18 JLUR has 24k on it and recently took a trip to New Mexico. 1650 miles total. When we were up there, by MPG maxed out at 22.1. The trip average was 18.4 and that included several miles of 85 mph going and coming in the long stretches of ENM and WTX. I am averaging 17.5 with normal driving (80% town). I am very happy with my JLUR.

27.6 mpg?! Holy?! I've only been able to get 17.5 to 18 and I do mostly highway driving at 70-75mph. It might be the Falken MT's though?

There are two things in life that men always lie about, the number of women they’ve been with and their MPG.
News to me. Interesting. Not all of us lie though, but I’ve only slept with 507 bikini models and get 73 mpg.

About 25 to 26 in a mix of highway and surface streets with the 2.0 turbo over the last month+ and 1500 miles. I did manage to hit 27.5 on a 2 hour road trip that was mostly a gentle decline and you better believe I took a picture of it.
