MOJITO! Wrangler JL Club

Decided to take the doors off as it’s going to be nice this week. That allowed me to install som 3M clear protection over the holes that the inner door hinge screws into. This way when I remove or reinstall the doors that metal bracket doesn’t scratch the door jam. Also got a chance to run my Jeep Junk foot pegs, CMM mirrors and test the new JL lava jacket from ACE Engineering. I had one for my Jk and they work great on this brisk spring mornings.

Good idea on the 3m! I’ll have to steal that and do mine when I do the door sills with the clear 3m

Looks great! Did you apply the 15% to just the front 2 windows, or did you add it to increase darkness to the rears as well?

Added it all around.... so 15% on the fronts and 15% on top of the existing factory dark glass to make them "limo"

I just picked up a bunch myself and a few “Jada Just Trucks “ from Walmart . I’ll strip the body’s off and put the matchbox on the Jada’s frame Itl make the JL look like its running 42’s . Yup .... I’ll never grow up !!!!!!!!!

Would you post a pic when the upgrade is complete? I've got a feeling you're an evil genius that I'm gonna have to copy.

Finally got my 2.5" JKS lift, Fox 2.0 Steering stabilizer, King Shocks, 17" KMC Machete Beadlocks with 37x12.5x17 Cooper stt pros. Had my springs and beadlock rings powder coated.

[GALLERY=][/GALLERY] Hello and thanks. I bought this paint on eBay for $25.00. It’s not mojito green but it’s the same color code. I put three coats of primer and four coats of paint and five coats of clear. Came out pretty good but if I had the cash I would have had it painted professionally using automotive paint instead of spray paint. But for now it will do. Thinking of doing the dash next

In Europe there are very strange and strict rules (as for everything) for pedestrian protection. As I know its mainly to avoid pedestrians to get close to or under the front wheel. The BMW is lower and the front wheel is more coverd by default...
