From what I have read yes the BCM will need to have the LED sales code flashed into it. There is also a member here making an adapter kit so no splicing is required please see https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/oem-led-headlights.23078/

Any orders placed before this recent change were placed in a holding status as FCA would technically not accept the order. Now that they are accepting orders they were naturally flooded causing a backorder however we can already see the supplier is shipping kits out which is great news.

An exact ETA is hard to determine until we actually input your order into FCA but as always I will provide the best information we have. There are 104 kits on backorder with 26 in route to packaging. I would estimate at least 30 days as any new order would be at the back of the line.

If anyone is set on purchasing this product they should place orders now rather than wait for off the shelf inventory

Also curious why part (68317694AE) is $44 on parts.allmoparparts.com ? But the switch bank is $258 on the regular site?

I will send you a PM with a code for those items.
There is no accessory add on back up sensor kit that I see from Mopar.

The difference in the pricing is that the accessory "822" part number is a kit and includes the following:
Auxiliary Switch Bank kit includes Black switch bank trim, switches, power distribution center (PDC), bracket, wiring harness, cubby bin, tie straps and splice kit.
