This JL has a completely factory suspension with 37's and did not rub the front inner fenders.

Thatā€™s no rubbing while disconnected and fully flexed?
I would recommend a 2.5" lift when disconnected and fully stuffed but for the mild trail riding that we were able to test on there was a ton of room left. This is in reference to the front only. We actually jumped the front end of the jeep about 2-3 feet off the ground with out anything hitting.

How did the rears do? Iā€™m currently on ā€œ35 inchā€ KO2s and Iā€™m trying to put off a lift for a while. Iā€™m thinking about adding fender liners for more room, but itā€™s not clear to me if it will make a difference.

On the rear the 37ā€s would rub but it wasnā€™t bad.

On this week's Tech Thursday, the Motobilt Jeep JL front inner fenders are installed by the You Tube channel High Centered Off Road. When installing aftermarket fenders or just trying to add more clearance for your bigger tires the stock plastic inner fenders do not cut it. The Motobilt Jeep JL inner fenders are your best option to clean up the inside of your fender well, while also providing more tire clearance. These fenders are made out of aluminum and are manufactured in Dothan, AL at the Motobilt head quarters. They can be left raw or easily painted to suit your Jeep perfectly. You can learn more about the Motobilt Jeep JL front inner fenders by clicking here!

In your product description: "They are made from 16 guage aluminum so they will not rust and are extremely light weight." When did aluminum have rusting properties? And "guage" is spelled wrong. :)

It doesnā€™t so hence why it said it will NOT rust.

If you want to say ā€œrustā€ as in oxidization into aluminum oxide, then yes just like how iron oxidizes into iron oxide as rust.
