I have .75” Rubicon Express coil spring spacers I originally used in my front but recently swapped in 1.75” spacer for a little extra height. Now I *think* I could use a touch more height in the rear so, can I use the .75” spacers in the rear?

Basically, is there a difference between front and rear spacers?

I’m looking online and while some kits appear different in shape for the rear, others do not. Looking at where the spring fits in the rear, I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t but would prefer to know for sure either way before I take the rear suspension apart.

Thanks!

No takers?

I’ve seen folks talking about making their own rears, but that’s on JK forums.

I was ready to give it a shot last weekend in the name of science but chickened out and also measured everything again on a flat surface and it seems I’d actually be adding a rake of .25-.50” so might pass on it.

Still curious if anyone knows the difference.

At the end of the day, it’s a cheap $30 part and I’m not planning on running them forever so, they can live in my garage :)

I don't think you can, but I am not totally sure.

Can you? Sure. I’ve seen it done on jk’s
Should you? I think the final wrap on the front vs rear springs is different so that will cause seating problems.

+1 to the post above.

No, the springs are different sizes. (Different wrap.) I installed a lift on my JL and can confirm from direct experience.
