Don’t lose your valve stem caps!

One of mine went missing so I went to the dealer to get a replacement.

The dealer service didn’t have any identical ones around the shop and the parts guy didn’t want to get into trouble for pulling one from a showroom Jeep so he looked up the part in the computer, and it was showing as a ridiculous $35 in the system. The part number is 68058768AA.

Don’t lose them I guess. Sure you can put any cap on the valve stems but the stock ones are extra long to cover up all of the threads.

A set of 24, and I think they were $29 bucks--

Use the "no Loss" valve caps.

I believe Extreme Outback is the company that makes them and/or is the main distributor, but you can definitely find them on Amazon, Quadratec, and eBay.

I've always liked the Dorman TPMS-compatible caps I picked up. Kind of a grey/silver color and seem to work just fine at protecting the internals. Haven't tried them on my Jeep yet, but I'm assuming they'll fit the same.

$5 per cap is disgustingly greedy, when these are only 20¢ each ($9 for a box of 50)..
