Added JK budget boost to get me by until I can build a full on lift kit.
2in frt, 1 in rear, wished now I would have gone 3/2 but these are all I had on hand from another long ago JK build.
35's clear no problem and spare tire barely r sits on bumper with tailgate closed. Actually adds stability to spare.

What did you have to do to get a jk budget boost to fit?

That sounds like a great idea to get us by while we wait for proper lifts

Wheels are American Outlaw Hollywood, DTD had them on sale. 5Tires /wheels/lugs after rebates were $2000. Delivered in 2 days.

JK budget Boost Fit with zero issues. However you must use an uper spacer in the rear because the JL lower spring seat is larger than the JK. Most people do not use lower spacers anyway. Front spring perch is the same as JK.

BTW- Only the spacers will work, shocks are different.

Have you noticed your tracking is off as a result of using the stock track bars? Maybe with your 2" in the front and 1" in the back, there isn't enough lift that it matters.

I'm getting a rubicon model and was thinking of using the teraflex 2.5" spacers until rockkrawler or evo come out with a proper lift.

Went back today and installed 3/2 lift, basically added another inch front and back.

Tracking is still good, caster is still ok with no wander at highway speeds. Adjustable trackbar will be nice.

2/1 is better (for now) and does not change geometry enough to worry about.

Still experimenting.

The sway bar links will not work, the front spacers fit perfect, the rear may need to be trimmed, although mine (daystar)fit perfect.

I have a correction.
We went to install a budget boost on another JL today and the rear springs are smaller than mine, therefore JK rear spacers upper or lower will not work on all JL's.

I know of 4 others that have installed them with no issues, but it seems JEEP made a running change or just used up what JK stock was available.

Therefore we have to state JK rear spacers upper or lower may not work so no one will buy them in error.

Measure you springs JK uses a 5 5/8 diameter upper spacer and some later JL's use 4 1/2inch.

It is very easy to measure without taking anything off/loose, do so before ordering a JK spacer.

This is a bummer.

FYI -The last 4 of my VIN is 0028 which shows it was the 28th produced.

The front spacers will work on all JL's as they used the same spring perches as JK's.
