The check engine light is telling me something is wrong and is keeping the vehicle in park to protect the tranny, if the battery trick does not work i can see a visit to the dealer in the future.

Hi everything. Thanks so much for the input. I was able to disconnect the battery and it seemed to reset everything.
Hoping that my battery just needed a reset. I brought it in to get an inspection so hopefully all is well and I have my Jeep back! Thanks for everyone’s help.
