.

A quick call to Cross Jeep tomorrow would quickly confirm for anyone interested. They are constantly building nice Jeeps and seem knowledgeable and relevant.

.
It does look bigger than 2” but i have seen a couple 2” lifts now in person on Rubis with both 35’s and 37’s and they are impressive. I haven’t called to confirm, but willing to bet it’s a 2”

Does anyone know IF the JLU Rubicon NEEDS a 2” lift? I have heard it does and it does not. Pictures would be great. I feel like the Rubicon’s in the pics look a little leggy with the 2” lifts and the Saharas etc look fine.

Thoughts?

Go look at Mel Wades Off-Road Evolution and JL Experience site on FB. He just wheeled his JLUR on 37s with a 2" lift today.

What is being done to adjust the speedometer to account for the tire size change? Or is this still not something that can be done yet with the lack of a JL programmer?

Any issues getting that 37 on the tailgate? I saw a vid saying a 35 was tough.

Great looking JL!

My guess is the tire hits the bumper.

When talking about 35s on the factory tailgate/tire carrier, you have to be careful and specify which bumper you're talking about too... 35s will hit the stock plastic bumpers, but if the JL is equipped with the optional steel bumpers then 35s will clear the bumper.

Same when it goes to talking about 35s on the stock suspension... are we talking Sport/Sahara flares or the Rubicon highline flares? It makes a difference.
