Installing 4dr Rubicon springs and shocks is a super cheap way of getting about 1-1/2" lift on your 2dr sport. Keeps a decent ride and people are almost giving them away on the forum. I've even seen them FS on my local Facebook Marketplace. For $70 you can get a pair of the longer lower control arms that come with the Mopar 2" lift to restore the caster.

Think you could get 35s on it?

Update? Still working well?

Yes it's still working well. I think the stiffer springs might be limiting up travel though. I tried to check the flex at one point and had plenty of travel still. But that could be from not having the stabilizer disconnected (on my list). I'm sure 35's would fit but would probably need bump stop extensions. The ride isn't bad but it might be a little bumpier than stock (contrary to my original post). As much as i'd like to go higher and bigger tires, this really is the sweet spot for me. It's still low enough that I don't need steps and the gearing isn't so tall that it kills my power or gas mileage too much (dropped about 1 mpg - corrected tire size with Tazer). The only other way to get a moderate lift like this is with spacers and stock springs. Seems like all the lifts on the market are minimum 2" - based on a Rubicon though. So that means 3-1/2"-4" on a sport which is more than i'd like (right now anyway :)

Sounds good to me! Yeah i want to keep it under 2” lift if possible. Really eyeing rubicon fenders right now for the added tire clearnce.
I have 4dr springs and shocks to go on with rubicon express disconnects and the mopar lower control arms. Along with the smallest “35” and lightest a 315/70r17 duratrac

Do your tow hooks have lights inside them? They sure are bright in that dim light.
The phone I took pic is new and I was playing with the settings... I really liked how the red popped out.. :)

Think the teraflex 1.5” spacers on top would be too much? Thats like a 3” lift. Driveline angles are no good
Well yes and no. I just keep going back to what can be done with a Rubicon and add 1-1/2". If they can put a 2-1/2" lift on a Rubicon with out new drive shafts, that's like 4" on a sport. Being they have the same shafts, no change needed right? Point being the final vehicle height would be less than a Rubicon with a 2-1/2" lift.

I present to you, my freshly delivered 2019 2-door, manual transmission, bright write, Rubicon in all her glory.

The 2-door is perfect. I love the proportions. To me, a 2-door, manual Jeep is a true Jeep. I'm a bit of a purest.

Great looking Jeep and the white is terrific in the 2-door, congratulations! But flashing palm trees in your photos at this time of year is just mean. :lipssealed:

Congratulations! What a stunner. My sentiments as well. I'm picking mine up next week.
