Stock, but dark graphite, not silver.Am I wrong or blind or both? Are those the stock Rubicon wheels?
I see. So, if we have the stock wheels (which are awesome), can we paint them?Stock, but dark graphite, not silver.
Not black, exactly, more dark graphite.I thought the same thing! Those don't look black. They look standard.
Yes, or more practically, have them powder coated.I see. So, if we have the stock wheels (which are awesome), can we paint them?
They definitely look great! Not black, exactly, more dark graphite.
Okay, who does that? Where would you take yours to be powder-coated?Yes, or more practically, have them powder coated.
These are the stock silver (my build, BTW):I thought the same thing! Those don't look black. They look standard.
Many/any paint shop. You could ask your dealer who they recommend, but they might want a cut $$$ to send them out, although they may give you loaner wheels while you wait (a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the shop).Okay, who does that? Where would you take yours to be powder-coated?
The powder-coated would look great with the red or the granite. These are the stock silver (my build, BTW):
I know everybody may have moved on, but thought I might clarify. The fob can remain in your purse/pocket the whole time. If you are close and grab the handle it will unlock. The button allows you to lock the door before you walk away from your Jeep without opening the door or using the fob. From what I have read, you have to be careful not to grab the handle when you push the button as it might not lock or will unlock it if you do.Ok, I don't have it. Others have described the button on the door handle as a button you had to push, maybe it is just a sensor for the fob.
They do look stock. The rear look darker, but probably due to indoor lighting and maybe some reflection off of the carpet color.Am I wrong or blind or both? Are those the stock Rubicon wheels?
Did you buy this? If so, congratulations!January 25, 2018
