Alien Sunshade is the way to go. Personally i'd go with the 2 piece instead of the 1 piece unless you plan on going topless the entire time. The 1 piece creates the hump in the middle... I think the 2 piece looks more clean. I keep my Alien Sunshade on year-round even when the top is on and I've had no issues with additional heat or the top losing it's tightness. Also, I'd go with black over red but that is personal color preference.

I bought the spiderweb shade for the wife bc she wanted pink and theirs matched her motif. I like it and no complaints. Alien was definitely less expensive just wasnt the right color for us

I've had both Alien and Spidershade. So far I like the spider shade better. It fits and looks better. That's just my personal opinion.

Do you have any pics showing how it fits better? I'm guessing from other posts that the Spider has a smaller gap around the edges. Same basic installation?

I have the 2 piece Alien in Red. I bought them the day they were released. The fit great. I do have 1 issue though... the plastic clips that hold the front of shade to the windshield, have kind of melted and deformed. The shade isn't as tight as it once was and now has a little slack in it. I'm going to call Alien today and see if I can get some extra clips.
I did two piece as well. Didn’t like look of one piece.

Re plastic clips, I don’t use them. Remove the four bolts to lower windshield set the bungee cord loops over the holes and tape so they don’t slide. Carefully close the windshield and insert bolts. Now the bolts hold the cords. Much better solution.

Are you happy with the choice in red?

Love it. I leave it on with hardtop too, its kinda my theme though. Red antennae, red rock rails.

Red accents - goes good with the Sting-grey and black interior. Blocks the sun, but leaves enough light to come through.

Yes the gap in front and the mounting hardware is better. I'll get a pic here as soon as I can. It'll be in my garage cuz the weather sucks here for now.
