Rhino Rack Backbone is the way to go.
Love it on my JK. RTT is great on it.
Will put on my JT.

Most people dont like the "huge cage" cost and commitment. Plus cages reduce so much / all the softop options. And noise / aero turbulence / MPG

The last post on this thread was like a year ago but I agree, the Rhino Rack pioneer platform is the way to go.

Been eyeing the: MAXIMUS-3 JL ROOF RACK SYSTEM, LONG

I’ll vouch for that one. You do have to drill into your hardtop, but it’s the best design so far IMO, very low profile, and holds the most weight.

Great thread on the Mopar racks on this site. The link is below. I read somewhere that the reason you are not supposed to use kayak's and such with the Mopar rack is not because of the weight but because they can create upward lift. Also heard that a lot of vibration would not be good with the gutter mount racks so not a good idea if you will be using off-road. I ended up getting the Mopar racks because I won't be using them that often, or with a lot of weight, and wanted something I could take on and off easily.

Do you have a video or pics of how you mounted the iKamper to the rack?

Thanks!

I do have a video that shows how I mounted the tent. To clarify, it is a Roost USA tent. iKampers are cool too!
