Installed some under the hood Led lights and a switch. Nothing like having your hands free from holding a flashlight when you’re jumping a battery.
I ike it... need to know what lights and switch you used and where you ran the wire (installation directions). Thanks, Like it..

@mnrafter @wranglerguyman , exactly as @bbuck7777 posted. I didn’t take any pics because it was daylight when I did it, but to find out for yourself, sit in your Jeep with just the dome light on, then turn on the dome light along with all 4 reading lights around it. Install is simple: pry the existing light straight down and out, unplug the wire, plug into the new light, then snap back in place. I did it in a parking lot while waiting to pick up my daughter. A trim tool is helpful, as one side wouldn’t come loose just by prying with my fingers.

No problem, MacJack I got the led lights at auto zone, and ran the wires behind the hood insulation in wire loom. I just mimicked the washer hose that’s on the driver side and I ran my wires down the same way on the passenger side. The switch is an old one I that in my tool box. Just a round lighted Single pole single throw 12volt switch. The bracket for the switch i made out some metal I had. And mounted it between the two brackets that go together by the air intake. I just loosened the 2 10mm bolts that hold the brackets together. And wedged the 90° part of the bracket between the two. Off of the switch I tied the 12 V feed with a 5 amp fuse to the positive side of the battery I soldered all of the connections and used heat shrink there are four or five nuts you can use For the ground. That are on the side by the battery and air intake. Hope this helps?

Wasn’t aware it was changed for 2019. Thanks.

after $1900, 6 hours of wrench time and 4 layers of fleece in a non heated garage - rock slide engineering sliders / auto steps installed.

so far quality very good - still getting used to them but very happy with the addition.

Waiting for my leveling RDV next week.

So I just tried to do a simulation of it, just to see...

I have a EU JLUR. So, for the USA, it is quite a MOAB edition...

Sahara fender flares with Rubicon suspension.

Upgraded the stock tires from 255/75 R17 to 285/70 R17 (right now with the snow tires).

Not very pleased with the look, so I have ordered from TeraFlex the following kit:

0.5+0.5 = 1 inch spacer lift for the front
0.5 inch spacer lift for the rear

FOX IFP 2.0 shocks.

Here the simulation:

It is hard to see the difference honestly, probably due to the lightning.
Do you feel driving nose down?
To me, what can drastically change to look of the Jeep or any vehicle for a matter of fact, are changing the wheels and/or tires.
More than buying the Rubicon fenders from the US and shipping them over.
In Europe though you’re restricted to the 3-5% tolerance play so 285/70R17 is you max without going through a new homologation.
Is the 1” in the front, 0,5” in the back also allowed? (Not sure they would ever notice though).
You could also add some wheel spacers to widen your stance, get a bit more stability and look without the downside of consumption with wider tires.
So either you go through a homologation process and do the whole suspension lift and bigger tires, or you have to stay within the little tolerance limits...
