Rain Gutter construction?

I plan on using a roof carrier. The legs will clamp onto the Freedom top gutters. What are the gutters made of? Are they made of the same plastic as the top or metal? I am worried about material fatigue as the Jeep bounces up and down
and the legs press on the gutters.

Just my 2 cents... Suggest being very careful with mounting your rack on the freedom panels. I doubt that they were designed to withstand any significant aerodynamic lift.
