Wow I didn’t think there was enough room to sleep in there. :movember::swear:

If he says he’s 6’2” and comfy in there I’m gonna flip. I went w/ 2 door b/c I figured couldn’t sleep in the wagon anyway.
5'7" but I have a friend who is 6'2" and sleeps in his JKU, and 3 other friends about 6'0" who have JKUs. At least it can't be as bad as my backpacking tent. The best part is I don't have to spend an hour setting up camp and tearing down camp the next day. Better things to do like drinking beer. :)

@AEVRogue

Can you get the release date and perhaps confirm the weights of the JL specific wheels?

This is all I could find for reference, except these are JK specific:

  • Savegre II - 31.40lbs for JK version
  • Pintler - 25.55lbs for JK version
  • Salta - 30.86lbs for JK version
  • Borah - 40+lbs for JK version

Also, any updates on the bumpers for the JL?

Thank you.

Can I get Borahs plain and then add either ring later? Asking for a friend.

So the wait continues. I guess I will save some loot initially. Just need the AEV lift and wheels to hit the market.....

Love them Borahs but not the weight. I'm almost warming up to the already available AEV Pintlers. Though I would love them in spent brass...

Wonder if any of our sponsoring vendors have a deal going on them?

AEV's instagram responses says 3-6 month wait for new JL products to be avail for purchase.

Yeah, the wait times on aftermarket support for the JL is pretty disappointing. Not just AEV, but there seems to be a real slow shift from the JK to the JL.

Basically, the JL will be nearing its THIRD year of production by the time these AEV parts are readily available.
I think the biggest challenge many of these companies are dealing with in bringing new JL product to market are resources (capital, human, production line). All these companies are still churning out product for the hugely popular JK so it's a matter of reallocating resources to start producing product for the JL, or they need new resources to kick off a production line for JL products. This of course requires access to capital so they can hire new people and get them trained, acquire new machines, perhaps expand their production space or even acquire the raw materials to produce the products.

Obviously this sort of thing is less of an issue for your larger companies and more of an issue for your smaller companies.

I'm waiting on those bottom borahs. I rarely go above 50mph so wheel weight doesn't concern me. Might sell my front bumper and go with the aev when it releases but will have to see it in person first. Almost seems like I'll be on my second JL by the time these products finally release
