Does anyone know if there is any way to install original Jeep heated seats to a 2018 JLUR after delivery?
I will be moving from the Bay Area to Boston in July and... boy do I regret not ordering my Rubi with it!

Thanks in advance.

First contact I'd use is the dealer to see if they can change the sales code for the heated seats. If they can it would be a matter of purchasing all the needed items like modules and heaters plus seat covers.

Or the aftermarket could provide a seat cover like Katskin (possibly) that may have heaters built in and add wiring and a switch.

I bought a new JL Rubicon and the dealer is installing heated seats and leather. They told me they couldn't do the original heated leather seats and it would have to be after market. Just a matter of unzipping the cloth and installing the leather. I'll give an update when I get it back from the dealer.

I’m wondering the same since u can buy the parts. Heated wheel, the center hvac control which has the buttons and the seat heaters at least for the back. Couldn’t find the pads for the base.

Not factory, but wasn’t available on the lot. Company here installed heated seats in the front for less than $200/seat. Nifty install and looks pro.

Could you please provide more info on the brand/model of this?

Thanks in advance!

Any feedback on brand or installer?
Oh. Let me send him a text tomorrow. Took a few hours and I think it’s in the butt and back area.

Apparently $400 for two fronts is about normal anywhere.

I just bought a used Rubicon with your setup. I assume the red is heat and down green is warm

I had heated seats installed at the end of last summer. They generally cost around $400, but they are worth every penny.

Here is the pad for the cushion. Has anyone had any luck putting it all together yet?

I added the oem heaters, and a heated seat elements and steering module to my base wrangler jl. Not too bad, total cost around $500.00. Got the steering wheel on ebay for $150, and the heated seat and steering module for $50 on ebay. Each cable harness is about $50(x2) for each seat. The elements are about $50 each for the cushion and back. I already had the ICS with the select button for the seats and steering.

Since each seat heater is turned on individually, and the steering wheel has its own switch, you can buy in stages and add as you can. No issues at all. You'll need to spend about $50 for pins and wire. The base JL doesn't have the wiring for the seats, but its easy to wire up.

Just another take on adding heated seats going the oem way. You can definitely do it cheaper by using all aftermarket items and manual switches, but I prefer the oem way.

Did you have to change the clockspring for the heated steering wheel? Have any schematics or pinouts? I'm waiting on one more paddle for my paddleshifter conversion so might as well gather parts and add the heated part while I'm in there
