I’ve had no problems with mine. Several people have had this happen once and then it was fine after pushing it back in place. Now that you’ve done that, see how it goes. My guess is for some people the Velcro doesn’t get fully engaged at install time.

If I were to install headliners on mine, I'd use 3M Dual Lock. I use that for a lot of different things, tends to hold better than Velcro or other hook-and-loop.

My 19 JL factory hardtop headliner is glued in the smell is overwhelming inside right now because it’s brand new. Maybe it’s the glue from the Velcro idk.

Galaxy Foam in Las
Are you going with the 4eo type?
Galaxy Foam in Las Vegas only carries 1 type in 1/2" thickness as far as I know, I'll have to check for sure. I believe it's the white 2A but I didn't ask them. I'll be there on the 21st of this month and will find out for sure. Price is nice, that much I know lol @ $16.50 per yard @60" wide.

I bought the mopar headliner for my JK a while back. After about a year, it started to fall. I used velco strips and double sided tape. Never tried glue. Nothing I did try held for very long. I did not order the factory install with my new JL for that reason. The price was crazy too. I think I ordered the mopar liner for less than 150 but that was at least 5 years ago
If I thought it would stay in place, I would order another. It did help with insulation

Look for real Velcro brand with their heavy duty peel strength and adhesive.
Hi,
if you need to add more Velcro you must use acrylic based adhesive. It has a higher temp rating. The industrial stuff from Home Depot is rubber based, as most of the Velcro you buy, and will fail when it gets hot.
