Anyone else encounter this from time to time? Suggestions?

What file format are you trying to upload? Maybe the forum won’t let certain image file formats due to size?

Also check the file type format. Depending on how they check if the file is image or not, then ".jpg" and ".JPG" are seen differently, and if they are only checking for ".jpg", then anything with ".JPG" would be seen as invalid.

Not to exclude that they may only accept certain filetypes. ".jpg" and ".png" being the most common. .gifs are sometimes restricted, and .bmp are pretty much never allowed.

Many phones would capitalize the file type, most programmers have adapted to this possibility, but that doesn't mean it doesn't still come up here and there.

File sizes are same as others that loaded without problems. All extensions are correct and the same as others. Some pictures just won't load properly. It's baffling...

Assuming both that the size of the effected pictures is not beyond some threshold, and that you're on a PC, as opposed to a Mac, load the pictures up in Microsoft Paint and resave them, I'd say as JPEG files if not in that format already.

Perhaps there is some nuance about them and the way that got put into, say, JPEG format that the bboard's upload engine is "coughing" on, and that resaving them in Microsoft Paint first, before then uploading, will remedy.
