Just wanted to share some pictures I took this morning on the way to work...getting a lot of lake-effect snow this week in Upstate NY.

Took this one with the stock wheels/tires on some trails last week. Can't wait to go back with my 37's...

More relaxing trail runs. Not that I'm on super harsh terrain, but I have almost no rubbing with 37's and no lift. If I hit a dip just right, the rear tires will rub on the fender liners a tad.

Awesome shots, thanks for sharing!! I assume yours is the white one? What tires are you running? Tread kinda looks like Ridge Grapplers, but I can't tell for sure. I'm running STT Pros and they're mediocre in the snow. My stock K02's were way grippier in slush/snow/ice.

Thanks. Yeah, mine is the white one. Good eye! I am running the Ridge Grapplers. They work fine on the snow and ice on the street, but I was not getting much traction in the deep snow on the trail. The funny thing is that I was real close to swapping out the Grapplers for STT Pros in hopes of better snow traction. Well, maybe also to step up from the 35s to 37s too.

The grey Rubicon is running the Pro Comp All Terrains and the black one is running the Discoverer AT3 all terrains. In the snow, they seemed to get a little better traction, but on rocks I have seemed to get better traction. There is always a trade off.

I’ve got a set of the new AEV JL Pintlers arriving in AK this week to strap 5 studded Nokian Hakka LT2 35s onto my JLUR. Will make sure to throw a couple pics up here once they’re mounted.
