These look better than the Mopar ones BUT both fail to address the area that will get beat up the most - the leading edge of the door sill BELOW these plates.

Epic design fails IMO.

I wouldn't have ordered them if the black material stuck out of the bottom door seam. Yes, it will get scratched, but you'll find other forum members have solved that by using the 3M tape. That's what I plan on doing.

LOL ... you must have gotten a great deal on the red stuff. I prefer the floor mats and door sill protector to be like a butler ... quietly doing their job in the background.

I care more about function than looks. These do nothing to protect the spot that gets beat up the worst. Hope they work out for you, but I’ll wait on something better.

I think I’ll LINE-X my rockers and sills before I put on the rock sliders. Done son!

In my few days of ownership (JLUR), I've yet to see what the sill protectors would protect. I don't step on the sill and the only thing that rubs in my pant leg when I step out of the vehicle. Its the vertical surface not the horizontal.

Agree for front and adults. My 12 and 8 year old definitely step on rear section. ROAM steps have helped quite a bit. I preordered.
