So can anyone direct me to a lift kit shootout? The only lift ive ridden on in the jl was the mopar with 35 inch tires and loved that on road. But how will that be offroad? How does it compare to others like the rancho.

Ive only used terraflex in the past on my tj with rancho 9000 shocks.

I'm curious if you have done any testing as a low center of gravity version. Something for high-speed backroads travel?
Here's the high clearance LCG version of our long arm kit: (Special thanks to Chris @ Tank Customs for these awesome photos!)

Uhm, that is a strut! That will not work in your Wrangler. Wait, I guess we shouldn't say wouldn't at this point, but shouldn't! LOL

I updated the original post to include Teraflex's offerings with links to their generic suspension page since they changed up their website formatting.

If you want to get their products , we are a dealer and can offer special pricing through PM's. That applies for everything else too!

Non-Rubis benefit from a small level, but Rubis don’t need it IMHO.
They do when you add a winch. My Warn 10s weighs around 83 lbs and it set the front down some.

Interesting. I’m also running the Warn Zeon 10-S, added a steel front bumper as wellm (worth noting since it came with plastic so it would not have the different springs up front to account for it).

I tried to convince myself that I needed to level it - mostly because back when I was looking at it, almost every lift included a 0.5” level, so I wanted to believe that I needed it.

However, after multiple rounds of photos and measuring with half tanks of gas, full tanks, and on E... my specific Jeep does not seem to need a level.

Or maybe my eyes are off and it does need it? What do you think? Honest opinion appreciated.

This is current state, without my lift installed, and on completely level ground per the Jeep’s EVIC readings. Fully unloaded, no passengers or driver in the vehicle and half a tank of gas.

Looks to me to be slightly nose-high, so I say no level needed.

Honestly I would stick with the 2.5 Adventure Series #1 or Flex system(If you plan on upgrading in the future.) At 2.5" of lift you don't really "need" the rear control arms or rear track bar(The track bar bracket should center the axle side/side in the rear without needing the adjustable trackbar.) Like mentioned above if you ever feel the need for more RK always gives you the option to purchase the other parts separate.
What I would be looking at for daily comfort is control arm bushings(On top of springs/shock choices.) If the adventure series is using rubber(Or similar shock absorbing bushings) on both ends of the lower arms then I would go that route over the more flexible all metal joints at one end.
Hope that helps a little rather than making the choices more confusing. RK is a great company to deal with, they may be able to be more specific on materials/components used in the different setups if you give them a call.
Thanks for all your posts, really helpful. For the RK 2.5" Adventure Series #1 there are some options. What does the Series 1, TT or Stage 1 mean? What do you recommend?

TT is their twin tube shocks. So you can get the same kit with or without shocks.

You will want shocks for sure, but which ones are up to you.

Thank you. What is the difference between the TT and stage 1?

Stage 1 implies what is included with the kit. So springs, sway bar extensions, bump stops, etc. the TT is the exact same kit but also comes with shocks.

To go up to stage 2 and beyond or into the X Factor line just come with more components such as track bars and control arms. You can also get those kits with or without the TT shocks.
