Hi. How many miles? Mine is still rougher than I'd like but I will say it got significantly smoother after about 2500 miles.

I'm in the same boat with the rough idle...annoying but not so bad that I want to deal with the frustration of going to the dealer and having them tell me it's normal in that condescending way that they do lol

Does anyone know if the reflash for the blank 7 inch center screen should have fixed this? I already had that one done.

I'm having mine checked for the TSB software upgrade. My idle isn't bad - much smoother when the vehicle is warm. During a cold start during high idle, it skips/bumps/misses every few seconds.

The TSB reference by jeremyjeep does mention a rough idle, and I have included the TSB information below. I would recommend referencing this to your dealership at your next service visit to see if it applies, and please PM me if you have any questions.

Hi Jennifer. Question for you - How come the dealers rarely know about TSBs, or Star cases? I realize people at the dealership might not pro-actively read TSBs and Star cases, but when a customer clearly explains a symptom, how come the dealers don't even bother searching for a TSB or Star case that might address the vehicles symptoms? Yes, I know they look up VINs and if it matches a recall, then they pick up on that, but why do customers have to bring in an internal FCA document and the dealer responds "I'll be darned"? Not just my experience, but as you read the threads here on the JL Forum, it is full of these examples of the dealers being clueless and/or too lazy to look for a TSB or Star case in their internal systems? Even a 2 min external search in Google for (example) "2018 JL Jeep Wrangler rough idle" finds it.

Check the Engine Mounts and re-torque the bolts, then I swap out the plugs for a good set of performance ones as well as the wires and coil packs. Go with MSD. That's what I'd do. I have no trust or belief that any dealership will help anyone after the things I just experienced with them.
