Hi all!

It was recommended I posted this in the show and tell section. I have not seen much information on this topic but am very satisfied!

During launch I read about the sport bumper/fender connection pieces and how FCA confirmed they were removable. I received my JL yesterday and I would be lying if I told you I didn't lose sleep over the thought of those ugly things. Today I was able to remove them, what do you all think? Do you think these connections should not be exposed to the elements? The bumpers were tightly connected threw 6 screws on each side but I would assume water would make it in especially at the recommended water height of 30" from the tailgate plate. What are you thoughts?

Use a utility knife to cut the Euro part off. Its soft plastic and cuts clean.,

I'm so glad you posted this! I was wondering the same thing. If you are worried about exposing the wires, I would just wrap them in electrical tape for an easy fix. Or maybe even electrical tubing/heat shrink.
I used some plumbing insulation and electrical tape because I wasn’t crazy on how exposed the fog lights were when I installed my aftermarket bumper. It’s easy enough to undo if I need to change a bulb.

I'm in that same boat brother!!
Sure you guys have already figured this out but I just found the part number for these euro/aeroc splash guards. Figured I'd post it up here since I was unable to find anywhere else on the forums.
RIGHT: 6QZ88RXFAB
LEFT: 6QZ89RXFAB

By the way, the official name is "closure panel." Super descriptive. Lol

This might be a really dumb question, but is it possible to cut this off without removing any bolts? Was thinking it might be easier to cut off any part that is extends beyond the front bumper and then sand the edges while leaving the backing piece that protects the back of the fog lights bolted in place.

Not a dumb question at all! Many of us trimmed it while still installed. I used a cutter with a new blade. Just took a few passes.

Can you show a pic from behind to show how you cut around the bottom and left that section of air dam beneath the fog light? I see other people removed that, but like the look of yours.
