I just did the chat service and it was very quick. The only problem was that they gave me the same info as I got 2 and 1/2 weeks ago, that it is D1 and all the parts are there and it is ready for production. Oh well.

Mine has dual tops and a manual, for those keeping track.

So I did the chat on jeeps website this morning and was told that my vehicle did not have a VIN and they couldn’t confirm if my order was processed by the dealer. Immediately after I emailed the dealer. Was given my VIN number and told I’m in D status. I have no clue who to believe or when I’m going to get the jeep. All I know is I’ll be super excited when it comes and would be even happier if I get it anytime before my ski trip February 10th.

I'm thinking that the tracking system that FCA has isn't all that great. My dealer sent me a mail yesterday telling me I was scheduled and had a VIN (why he didn't include that VIN, I'll never know), yet there is no movement shown anywhere to verify that info. I'm just trying to ride the wave and be patient...lol

I think they are only making JLU / Hard Tops right now.... They definitely haven't made any productions with manual tranny's yet according to my research
