It’s cool seeing someone else that kept the OEM wheels!
So many fake black beadlocks out there.

Nice looking rig you got there!

What lift did you go with? How's the ride?

I'm confused.

Okay I found your Jeep pictures @rohdawg and see why you like @silversgrfx rig.

Though I was complimenting Andy, I like yours too Max.

I didn't mind the graphite factor wheels. I prefer a blacked out wheel and have put
Pro Comp Alloy Series 7069 Flat Black Wheel (pic attached) on my Jeeps in the past. I like it simple. For now I'm ok with these factory wheels.

I went with the Rubicon Express 2" spacer lift with the shock extensions. The ride is pretty much he same as factory since your not changing out any of the factory suspension. My jeep will be a 85% Daily Driver.

Didn't want to go all in yet on a suspension lift. I think I'm good with the height and the additional clearance with the two inch lift. Will see how it impacts my MPG then go from there in terms of changing it to a suspension lift and increasing my tire size. My previous JKUR had 35's and a 4 inch lift on it and it got about 10 miles to the gallon.

My LJ dropped to 12-14mpg on good days with 4.5" lift and 35's. That and braking became unsafe, driving in the mountains was terrible, etc.

I'm going to go with no lift, though open to more droop and a bit more load capacity depending on the trailer I find.

Have you looked into Rubicon take offs? Might not be as high but a bit more travel. Not sure how much stiffer the ride would be though.

I had a LJ with a leveling kit and 33"s. I loved that jeep!

In reading the forums on the JL it's just that there isn't enough user feedback on some things.Aftermarket is just starting to pick up with more options for lifts, bumpers, etc. One reason I went with the spacer lift is less expense and hassle to install or remove. I didn't find a lot of talk about how others MPG has been impacted by their tires and lifts. It's nice that the JL can accommodate 33's without any lift. If I find the 2" and larger tires impact too much. I'll ditch the lift. Run 33's and maybe level out the sag. In the mean time as we beta test these JL's and new aftermarket parts there will be better feedback to figure out other lift and tire combo options.

What sort of trailer are you looking for?

I do miss the JL for the extra length and climbing. Was a great rig. Hope they come out with a slightly longer 2 door JL someday. :involve:

Looking to go camping more, but want a trailer that I can use to haul stuff back and forth from Home Depot as well. So no teardrop, but maybe a utility trailer with roof top tent on a frame? Also has to be light. lol

Here is a picture of my trailer and RTT set up. Check out Morris Mule trailers. Has a drop tailgate. And the top opens up to create shelf space and has a nice large tongue area on the front.
