Hi everyone, long time listener, first time caller.

I've been following this particular thread for almost a year now, but I finally placed my order for a JLUR Sting Gray two days ago. Can't wait to be a part of the community! Keep posting your awesome pictures, it's going to help me cope with the long wait ahead.

Well, thank you..since you didn’t upgrade your wheels, you can do that when your SG arrives Many options to choose from

Latest upgrade to Rhino, Maximus-3 Stinger, that we affectionately call the "Horn". Highly recommend Maximus-3 products. The only issue we had was with the support brackets installation instructions (the bracket was good, just how to install correctly was a little confusing), but I'll make a write-up on installing them that may clear up the mud a little.

Looks great! I am going to be ordering this myself. I plan on doing a winch install first. Thanks for posting!

Sting Gray is honestly an amazing color to see in person. Carson Dodge/Jeep was the best. Nate and Jaymes made this deal the best new car buying experience ever. Back in the Jeep Club!!! /Wave (Had to sell my '15 JK)
Going to totally copy Blueblood's build as I have been staring at that damn JL for a while now...wallpaper for my 3 monitors.

Got them put on. Was actually harder than I thought becaus the individual lettering wouldn’t peel back, but finally got it.

I hated this color on the new Tacomas (cement) and I'm a Tacoma guy, also hated it in pictures for the JL. Test drove and saw one in person, totally different story, such a great color in person on the JL.

Same here. I’ve never seen one in person look like they show in pics. It’s a color you have to see in person. It’s great.

The RED accents look really good with the Sting Gray. Nicely done!

Just got new shoes for my Stinger! 18x9 Fuel Beasts with 35x12.5 Goodyear Duratrac. I put my factory rims and tires on my daughter's JL. I will be getting a Mopar 2 inch lift tomorrow. Thanks to @JD Flick for posting pictures of his awesome rig and turning me on to this set up.

Hey LennyV,

You can absolutely do this with the winch installed, but if you do it before or at the same time, it'll be significantly easier. There are two bolts that sit right next to where the winch is and are a very tight fit (pictures with arrow pointing to it). Without the winch installed, they are a piece of cake. I'm actually working with another member and Maximus to touch up the instructions concerning the support brackets because it's a little confusing. I should have those done and up before the weekend. Other than the support brackets, the install is easy and only an hour or so to complete.
